The caller identified themselves as Telstra and alleged that my IP had been made public, exposing my personal information. Though I recognized it as a scam, I engaged them until they urged me to visit a website, "what's my IP." At that point, I confronted them about preying on vulnerable individuals. Suddenly, a "manager" intervened and advised me to calm down.

Said they were Telstra, and my IP had been made public and all my personal information was now public. So they wanted me to check on the website 'WhatsMyip', Sounded like they just trying to get me to tell them my info, and then take advantage or hack.
