I had an NBN FTTP tech installation scheduled, and a person named Kevin claimed to be from Optus & NBN. He said my appointment was confirmed but needed additional information. Kevin asked me to download the "anydesk.com" application so he could access my computer and find the socket number of my modem. Realizing it was a scam, I hung up. Surprisingly, I received eight more calls from different numbers. It's concerning how the scammer knew I was dealing with Optus & NBN.
